The mission of the Fort Zumwalt West High School Band is to facilitate the musical enrichment of its student- membership; to achieve the highest standards of music education and performance through the relentless pursuit of both individual and ensemble excellence; to serve our community and school through music; to improve and enhance the cultural, intellectual, and social lives and awareness of its students;  to build strong character and values within its members and to provide those members with opportunities for personal growth and leadership.
